Syrups & Coffee Drink Ideas

Cold Brew

Ingredients/What You'll Need:

  • water
  • coffee ground (medium grind size)
  • pitcher
  • wooden spoon
  • measuring tools

For cold brew you want to use a 1:2 ratio meaning for every 1 cup of water you use 2 tablespoons of ground coffee. I usually make a pitcher of cold brew which is 8 cups of water so I'd go ahead and mix that along with 16 tablespoons of water and let it sit in the fridge overnight for maximum flavor.

Storage: This will last in fridge and stay good and fresh for 3 days to a week!

Whipped Cold Foam

Ingredients/What You'll Need:

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • hand milk frother or mixer
  • ziploc or piping bag

Combine ingredients and use a hand milk frother or hand mixer to mix together until foamy (you'll see bubbles).

Next:

  • add in sweeteners of your choice!

I typically use 1 tbsp of powdered sugar, 1 tsp vanilla extract, and a tbsp of honey

Lastly, mix it on medium speed for 2-3 mins and you'll see it start to thicken, change speed to high and keep mixing until it's to your desired consistency.

To easily be able to store or use right away add it to a piping bag (you can use a ziplock bag and cut the tip off) or move into an airtight container.

Storage: this will last in fridge for 2-3 days!

Brown Sugar Syrup

Ingredients/What You'll Need:

  • water
  • brown sugar (dark/light by preference)
  • flaky sea salt (helps brings out sweetness in syrup and makes more flavorful)
  • vanilla extract (adds depth & dimension)
  • saucepan
  • wooden spoon
  • syrup container or any airtight container
  1. Combine brown sugar, water, and salt in a small saucepan and stir to combine.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  3. Once boiling, lower the heat to medium low and let simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Remove the mixture from the heat, add in the vanilla extract, and stir to combine.
  5. Let the syrup cool completely before transferring to an airtight container.

Storage: this will last in fridge for about 3 weeks!
